WWII USN N-1 DECK JACKET

Authentic WWII era U.S. Navy deck jacket. Contract No. NXsx93427 dates this jacket between February/March of 1945.

FEATURES

  • brass Talon zip front closure w/ original leather zipper pull

  • asymmetrical button wind flap protector

  • signature rounded fur collar w/ button chinstrap

  • concealed wool knit cuffs

  • original waistband drawstring

  • gusseted armpits with eyelet vents

  • two front hand-warmer pockets

  • original left chest U.S.N stencil

  • olive drab cotton Beford cord (jungle cloth) shell

  • “alpac” pile fur lining

CONDITION

Mindfully selected for heritage & character. Honest vintage wear consistent with age and use. Coloration/staining throughout. Hidden wool sleeve cuffs have holes and fraying. Right chest has marks where a patch appears to have been removed. A few subtle thinning areas on fur lining. One of the eyelet vents on right underarm is partially detached. Zipper has begun fraying at the bottom, but still functions perfectly. No other perceivable issues.
