1930s U.S. TRANSPORT COAT
Extremely rare 1930s U.S. military "transport" coat worn by U.S.N/U.S.C.G. officers and NCOs in pre-WWII service. This historic coat was built to not only weather the harshest conditions but also the test of time...a must-have for any serious collector. CONDITION
Mindfully selected for heritage & character. Honest wear, but surprisingly in tact considering garment's age. Some minor staining on moleskin shell. Notable crude sheepskin patch/repair on interior lining (as pictured) and a small tear in lining near right armpit. Horsehide buttonhole tabs on left side are a bit faded/worn and the bottom tab has been stitched together, but right side tabs are in excellent shape. No other perceivable issues. Perfectly serviceable as is.
